Our hearts go out to those impacted by Hurricane Irma. FJA members and field staff are among the millions of Floridians struggling with prolonged power outages, flooding, property damage and more. Our office in Tallahassee is up and running. As Florida recovery progresses, the FJA would like to remind its members and staff that we are here to assist you in any way we can. Florida's Insurance Consumer Advocate

As Florida recovers from the devastating impact of Hurricane Irma, the state’s Insurance Consumer Advocate is available to help Floridians find solutions to insurance issues they may face.

Consumers with questions about their policies and those who need help filing a claim should call the CFO’s free Insurance Consumer Helpline at 1-877-693-5236. If you are calling from Out of State please dial (850) 413-3089.

Florida Bar Legal Assistance Hotline

The Florida Bar has setup a hotline to provide assistance to those who cannot pay for an attorney. The hotline operates through a partnership between The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division, the American Bar Association (ABA) Young Lawyers Division, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
