Honorable E. Earle Zehmer Memorial Mock Trial Competition
The FJA's annual Mock Trial Competition will be taking place on November 9-10 this year in Fort Lauderdale. Law school students will be competing in the competition, and attorneys are needed to volunteer to score the competition rounds at the Broward County Courthouse. Volunteering at this event is an excellent opportunity to coach law students on their trial skills while also educating future lawyers about the FJA.
The FJA Mock Trial Competition is also a great way to earn free CLE credits. All who participate are eligible to earn up to 9 General CLE and Civil Trial Certification credits.
No training, previous experience, or preparation is needed to volunteer. Volunteers serve as jurors during the competition. We will need 50 volunteers from 9AM - 1PM, and 50 volunteers from 1PM - 5PM on Saturday, Nov.9th! We will need ten from 9AM - 1PM, and five volunteers from 1PM - 5PM on Sunday, Nov.10th!
